Hello

My name is "Devi" and I have been a Reiki therapist since 2007. I am currently practicing Jikiden Reiki. Although my office is in Plymouth, Massachusetts, my clients are spread across United States and in Thailand. Besides Reiki, I have a PhD in Industrial Engineering and work as a health systems engineer at a large healthcare system in Central Massachusetts. Since 2024, I have been providing weekly Reiki therapy for hospice patients at Cranberry Hospice/Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.

My Story

I have been blessed with the opportunity to provide Reiki to my family and friends over the years. It has been very rewarding to bring joy back to people's lives. I have seen the pain disappear, injuries subsided with just 1-3 sessions. With so much suffering in the world, Reiki is an alternative way to bring forth relief and enhanced healing.  In 2024, I started Sakura Wellness LLC as a way to expand my Reiki service to the local community and anywhere in the world.

My initial Reiki training was in 2007. Initially, I only treated my immediate family and close friends. I became a Reiki Master in April 2012 while I was doing research at the Mayo Clinic. This was also the year that I discovered Jikiden Reiki and completed Shoden and Okuden training under Frank Arjava Petter. In 2024, I repeated the training with Mari Okazaki. All the trainers are certified through the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto, Japan.

I have conducted Reiki for many health issues/ailments, such as stomach aches, anxiety, broken leg, swollen shoulder, concussion, sciatic nerve pain, whole body nerve pain, plantar fasciitis. For acute conditions, sometimes, it only takes one session. One of my clients in 2007 shared that his tendonitis (tennis elbow) pain in both arms subsided almost entirely after just three 30-min sessions. More recently, one client was able to walk without pain for several days after a Reiki session that focused on relieving her sciatic nerve pain and knee pain.
